Welcoming: from adaptation to trust

The arrival at the shelter is an upheaval for these dogs, often marked by fear and suffering. For the first time, a human being is looking after them, offering them care and affection. A first bond is forged, fragile but hopeful.

Each dog follows a path adapted to its condition: some, in better health, can immediately join a group and relearn community life. Others, too frightened or ill, benefit from a secure area where they are cared for and gradually accustomed to human presence.

???? The aim is to build mutual trust, an essential step towards their rehabilitation and, one day, adoption.

Care: a constant battle

After a period of observation and clinical assessment, sick or injured dogs are cared for in collaboration with our veterinary partners. In the absence of suitable hospitalization facilities, our team mobilizes day and night to provide them with the care they need to survive.

Precise, patient work: wound care, administering medication, re-feeding, re-hydrating, changing bandages… Every gesture counts and can make the difference between life and death.

Total commitment: between travel, care and the search for funding, each treatment represents an immense challenge. But for our team, there’s only one rule: never give up, and do everything in your power to give them a second chance!

Goal : restore their full health and strength.

Socializing: an essential learning process

Once they’ve been cured and are fitter and more confident, the dogs gradually integrate their group. But this transition isn’t always easy: everyone has to find their place, learn to live together and adapt to the personalities already present. This is a key stage where the balance of the group must be preserved.

Observation and adjustment: our team maintains calm and discipline, assessing interactions to prevent conflict and ensure harmonious integration.

Tailor-made training: thanks to our collaboration with the Dog Training & Rehabilitation Unit, we teach dogs the essential basics, promote their socialization and prepare them for family life.

Our mission: to give them every chance of blossoming and being adopted into a loving home.

The aim: to give them back their unshakeable health.
