Hi… I’m Zia…
I’m a little ball of energy, full of life… but with a heart that’s still very cautious.
When you come into my kennel, I’m happy, I jump, I get excited — I want to be part of it, to be there, to share something with you. But be careful… that doesn’t mean I’m ready to be touched right away.
Trust isn’t something I give easily.
I need time.
I need to observe.
I need to understand that I’m safe.
And between us… eye contact still intimidates me a lot. So sometimes, I prefer to look away and pretend nothing’s happening ????
But slowly, I’m changing.
I’m starting to relax, to open up a bit more to humans… not with everyone yet, because I still have my little doubts, but I’m making progress.
What do I need?
A patient and present person, someone who would come see me regularly to build a real bond with me… or a volunteer who falls deeply in love with me during their stay and is ready to commit for life, with everything that means.
Someone who understands that the most beautiful victories sometimes take time.
Because deep down, there’s an amazing dog in me just waiting to blossom.

Ils ont connu l’horreur hier, aujourd’hui on veut leur offrir une vie de rêve.
On ne connaît pas le passé exact de tous les chiens que nous accueillons. Ils ont peut être vécu les pires atrocités, certains ont été retrouvés dans des états graves et c’est pourquoi aujourd’hui il peut être difficile pour eux de nous faire confiance ou de s’adapter à leur environnement. Certains réagissent à des situations que d’autres acceptent sans difficultés, d’autres sont en situation de handicap. Les chiens présentés ici ont tous du potentiel, cependant un accompagnement spécifique, qu’il soit médical ou comportemental, sera primordial pour qu’ils puissent être bien dans leurs pattes.
