About Becky
When I arrived at Indie's World, I was affectionately nicknamed "Beyoncé". I might as well tell you that I don't really see the resemblance (although on these pictures, I'm almost there ;)
Anyway, I was spotted by an animal lover in the north and Indies World arrived with their berlingo. I was in a miserable state, handicapped, malnourished, without any hair on my body, my back legs crushed. They wondered how I was alive (they didn't know I was a warrior).
They took the time to feed me and observe me. I had to get my strength back before any surgery. Then came the day when I was ready, both my hips in a million pieces were operated on and fortunately my spine was not affected.
My problem now is that I have lived like this for so long that I can't understand that my lower limbs are fixed, I have a lot of strength in my upper body and actually it doesn't affect me too much. I have no pain and I love to roll around in the grass in the sand and live my life with passion.
I love humans, they saved my life, I am so grateful for my rescue. Today I have hair, I have food every day, I have friends (who sometimes annoy me because they fly in my plate) to play with.
So here's the deal, if you want to dance with me on Beyoncé tunes, I'm OP, you have to know that I'm not like the others but that's my strength. That I need cuddles until late at night, good meals and a space adapted for me (I admit that I don't control my pee-poo too much but I work on it)
PS: as for the other handicapped dogs, the top of the top would be an association which would take care of me for a maximum of chance to evolve.
